Me: It's not okay when I'm happy for too long. It's suspicious then I do something stupid and I make you mad.
Me: I started this cause I wouldn't kiss you. Last time I started it cause I didn't want to talk about something. And the time before that I ruined our anniversary because I got sensitive over you walking way and the other time because I wouldn't answer a simple question. I force you to spend time with me when you have better things to do.
Me: I whine and whimper until you give in. I try to distract you so it will be too late to get to the bus. I'm clingy and manipulative.
Me: There's a lot of things that haven't been denied or ignored and I see you agree with it.
Shawn: I don't know what to say.
Me: But it's not okay when it grinds away at your self esteem and you continually feel like you're supposed to be alone, convinced that you are what people accuse you of being.
Me: You shouted it in front of all your friends. And I was given a look that made me feel like the ugliest piece of trash in the world. And it wasn't the first time it was said. It's been weeks and I think about it every night and I see that face everyday. It's a reminder that tells me I am what I was called.
